$2000 may even be pushing it in todays market.
Depends if you want to hold onto it or not.
I bet if you went below 2k to 1500 it would sell quickly and if you kept it at 2k you would have alot of tire kickers test driving and maybe find a buyer.

2K might be a little low... with no rust, and if the interior is in good shape (minimal wear on the seats and no rips), I'd say you might get as much as $3,000 for it.

An E30 in good shape is getting quite rare these days. I guess it all depends on how fast you want to sell it.

when I bought mine it was approx. $3000 and that was a few years ago.

so $2500 would probaly be a nice round figure.

    I was going to say $1500-2000 ..

However, with 280,000 km ?? had the engine been replaced?

    My in law sold their 86 325i .. with only 150K ( one owner ) for $1500 .. ( 3 yr ago )

    So with 280,000 km .. U should get it for $1K -1500 ..

Well ..depends on condition .. since any thing goes wrong, will cost MORE then the car anyway ..

I would say 2k is a fair asking price. You might get away with closer to 3 if you can find the right buyer. Seems to be in pretty good shape.

Wow nice condition e30! Like what was already said, its a bit high on the kms but cuz of the good condition, I'd list it for 3k or more. These are actually becoming quite the collector item. I've recently read an article in a bmw magazine that said a good condition e30 with reasonable kms can fetch upwards of 5k or more!

21 year old car with 280,000 kms? how on earth can anyone say its high?Thats less than 14k per year, average is 20-25,000 per year.I think when a car is 20+ years old and the asking price is less than say $5000, the amount of kms on it should not matter that much,i was shopping for a truck recently and looked at low km trucks locally, what i found was a truck with 120,000 kms driving around the city all its life had more life sucked out of it than a truck with 200,000 highway kms,the maintenence history is more important than the amount of kms in my opinion on an older car.Nice BMW by the way!

im of the same thinking, ive known a few bmws with the same engine hit 350 000 without anything major needing to be done to them, all about the maitenance being kept up to date and the car looked after

Well if its really in good shape I would think $2500 or more would be fair for sure.

I'd pay $2k in a second for that. Had one and it's what made me a BMW fan. After I sold mine to a friend I looked for ages for another one and couldn't find anything decent. Let me know if you're selling it.

Quite comforting as I dont feel so bad with 95k on mine then.
