Exclamation Need number to chicken farm just outside Calgary on 17th ave S.E.

I can't find this number anywhere and I don't know what it's called, but I've bought from there before and need a live chicken today STAT!! It's on 17th ave, just after the city limits and it's run by some asian guys. I just don't want to drive up there to find out they don't have any available.

    Any help will be appreciated.

Awesome thanks van. I was searching chicken and farms, but not duck . But you just saved me a ton of time because I called and they don't have any available.

And CUG, if it were up to me, I'd be heading to the nearest KFC, but I might be cursed for life if I did that

Live chicken? Do you have some sort of voodoo ritual to perform?

LOL I knew I would get some funny comments. But it's for a funeral anniversary. They use it for their ceremony, but it's not sacrificed in any way. But of course when they are done with it they are not going to free it, so it becomes the next meal. I was just a helping hand and this was one of the things on their list. We couldn't find one in the time given so we were told a dead fresh one would do. I am asian BTW, so I'm betting others know what I'm talking about.

LOL a dead fresh one?! How/where were you able to find that one? Did it have to have its feathers still attached?

Google is your friend and I've been there a couple times as well when I was younger. Especially if you're Vietnamese you've probably been there because your folks probably like to buy live duck, take the feathers off, cut the head off and eat em!!

do they take the feathers off before they behead it, or after? seems really inhumane to defeather it and then kill it.

I DID NOT eat Duck or chicken for a month after witnessing that shit in my uncle's backyard! Live huge ass white duck in the backyard running around, uncles take it down, slit its throat, collect the blood, the ladies pluck the feathers, they cook it, pour the blood on it and eat it like it was nothing!

    Damn fucking nammers!

My wife did this once when we lived in Edgemont. She used to do it all the time in China and thought it was no big deal, but she gaged a few times from the smell of the blood as she was draining it and swore to never do that again cause it's just different doing it at home then at a farm. And me being the biggest asian redneck there is was watching this whole ordeal and couldn't get myself to eat a piece after it was cooked.

Then the next day I had some good old greasy KFC
