Default TSX 2009 vs. Accord 2009 vs. Mazda 6 2009

I'm looking to buy a new car, and I'm considering the 3 cars above. For both the Accord and Mazda 6 I would be looking at the V6 engines. I've driven both the TSX and the Accord, and they both have pros and cons, but I was wondering if anyone had any ideas of which I should choose.

I assume you would be talking about the accord sedan. If so I think that accord sedan is the ugliest out of the three.

I would go for the TSX V6 out of the three choices you listed.

The Tsx V6 doesn't come out till this summer and I think that will be slightly out of my price range

In that case probably the V6 Accord if you don't mind the looks. TSX is a nicer car but the 4 cylinder is weak for the $ you pay. Accord has more room inside too if I remember correctly.

Test drove the Accord V6 coupe at T&T on Saturday. Very impressed, even over the civic si. The torque makes it great to drive.

    TSX looks sooo bad

Only drove the Mazda 3 and the re-sale sucks.

Were going back for the Accord as Honda has a few deals going with the auto show etc.

The only complaint I have with the my 08 V6 accord is the engine just isn't as revvy as a lot of other Honda motors. What I like is that there is so much more torque at the low end. On a side note, looking back, don't get an EX-L V6. The leather is pretty low grade, and it is cold! Seat warmers don't really help that much when you are getting in.

When I test drove the accord yesterday i found the low end torque not to be that spectacular. Only after I got over 4000 rpm did the performance mode kick in and I could feel the V6

I have found that problem with most V6 engines in Calgary. We are so high up that NA motors really suffer. Turbo is the only way around it really.

If I was you, I'd pony up a few more bucks and take a peek at a G8 GT. You won't be havin no problems with power with a nice big V8, that's fer sure.

For style and fun factor Mazda 6.
For reliability and resale either Honda.

I'd get the Accord before the TSX.
    In reference to Rob Anders:

Are you looking at the accord coupe or the sedan. If you're looking at sedans only, in terms of looks I'd get the Mazda 6.
