After his former girlfriend taunted him, Phillip Alpert remembered the nude photos she e-mailed to him while they were dating.

He took revenge with an electronic blast — e-mailing the photos of the 16-year-old girl to more than 70 people, including her parents, grandparents and teachers.

Three days later, Alpert, then 18, was charged with transmitting child pornography. Today Alpert is serving five years of probation for the crime, and he is registered as a sex offender — a label he must carry at least until he is 43.

Poor Guy, is now a registered sex offender.

Are you serious? The grey hound killer is completely schizophrenic, he was not in control of himself. Dilusional Insanity is not something to be taken lightly and even though he is innocent and not spending any time in jail he will be heavily medicated in an institution for the rest of his life... So I dont know where you draw the comparison.

It boils down to this: In the states if your over 18 and you are dating someone that is under 18 you are walking on very thin ice. This guy should have known better, everyone knows that those laws in the states are way to tight.

I gotta say this is extreme too. They should make an amendment to the under age rule. Theres a difference between a 30 year old dating a 16 year old and an 18 year old dating a 16 year old. Something like 2-3 year buffer between ages should be legal.

But this guy is an idiot. Sending out personal stuff of an ex is just wrong.
