Yeah there isn't, except perhaps a situation like this warrants a look to see if maybe there SHOULD be a difference, because like it's been mentioned earlier, when these pictures were taken or passed from the gf to the bf, it was done consensually.Originally posted by semograd
Porn is porn and there is no law differentiating degrees of child porn (there doesnt need to be because its wrong on every level). Again if I were a parent I would be glad to know that this retard is on that particular states list of sexual offenders, so i can look up his file and see exactly why I think he should stay the fuck away from my daughter or not.
Now, after they broke up, the bf decided to be a jackass and send them out. Bad, yes. Immoral, yes. Stupid, yes. But bad, immoral, and stupid to the same degree as a GENUINE pedophile destroying the innocence of little kids? No.
So the law needs to adapt to be able to deal with these situations instead of painting all under-18s with the same brush.
Teenagers are going to do stupid things.... they have been for years, and will continue to do so for ever and ever. These days, the trend is to take cell phone nekkit pics and send them around. 99 times out of 100 it's harmless fun for them. This is the exception, but the kid shouldn't have his whole life ruined because of it.
It's fine if you want to keep this guy away from your daughter... but is it because he's a sleazebag? or because he's a pedo? Because as far as I can tell, he's not a pedo, and should not be treated as such.
And also, I'm sorry, but all the people saying he "sexually assaulted" her need to give their heads a shake, because that is absolutely 100% false.
