Default switched towers case now it wont start

hey guys, need a bit of help.

i just got a new tower CASE, i removed everything from my old tower and put it in my new tower case.
i pluged everything in correctly and the PW jumper.

so when i went to push the ON button, nothing happend
so i switched it on the back side.
all the fans powers up...but i get no BOOT sequence?
    so what am i missing?

i plugged in the PW jumper, but my ON button doesnt work. everything is hooked up, just like how it was in my old tower.
Also i tryed plugging my old PS...does the same thing.

    any help would be awsome!
    thanks

check the front panel connectors that go to the MB you may have the connector itself backwards.

Perhaps the power supply in the new case requires an extra connection on the motherboard?

I recently replaced the power supply in my computer, and the new supply required an additional connection on the MB, beside the main harness....

the only thing i notice differnt is my auxiliary power supply connector on my old PS, which my new one doesnt have one.
but that shouldnt matter it just provide extra wattage to motherboard...or could i be worng? i tryed plugging my old ps in...nothing powered up.

did you check the front panel button cables and how the connect to the MB?

it may look fine like you have the pwr cable to pwr spot on the mb. flip it and it should also go in

What motherboard are you using? I suspect you've got the power switch connected in the wrong place or an extra standoff underneath the motherboard causing a short.

make sure you have the standoffs in place and your motherboard isn't flat against the case

Well looks like the power switch is plugged in the right place. how about extra standoffs?

In all my time working with comps I never seen the power button connect that way, usually it connects horizontally with the edge of the board, but according to the manual I found yours is correct....not sure really
    I found this manual http://www.elhvb.com/mobokive/Archiv...nual/UM-P4X-E1(C).pdf

on page 35 it shows the power connector.

It looks like, from the pictures you do not have standoffs installed.

They are the brass things on the back panel of the case that the motherboard screws into.

hahah, in all my days working with comps I only seen this once haha, your lucky you didn't fry the mobo, since you pretty much shorted everything by laying the mobo on metal directly.

I have seen this so many times when I was working at a local computer shop doing repairs.

Its quite common, either extra standoffs shorting, or no standoffs, or no screws, or random shit spliced into the powersupply.. (seriously)
