Its probably been a long time since anyone even looked at it, but silver is $14/ounce. It might take quite a while before it actually moves up, but its real.

Personally I still think there is a solid chance that nickel all of a sudden becomes the god of money (again)
    Cocoa $10,000 per ton.

Anyone into Dividend reinvesting? Any ones that stick out to you all? Im thinking of long term, setting it and forgetting it for like 10 years.

From their website: Class A Shares: Monthly distributions (primarily return of capital)

Doesn't seem sustainable. What's the deal? I am not familiar with this product.

You realize you are talking to the guy who made his own furniture out of salad bowls right?

Any stock that is DRIP eligible I take advantage of. You can set this up as a default with most brokerages. If you don't own the Canadian banks it's a great place to start. Boring as shit but you never have to look/worry/lose sleep over them.

I haven't looked at DGS in a while but it dropped quite a bit over the last little while. Was hovering around 7-8 for the past year I was looking.

Many of my stocks are in this category. Just make sure you get some good quality stable companies with good cash flow etc, set up DRIP on those companies/accounts and you will be laughing in a few years.

I have not touched it - till today buy order is in at $14.50.

Expect to see a dividend cut based on the most recent press release about the pay-out ratio and asset sales under consideration.

It has been a good run haha I simply don’t look when it’s all red. It’s like ignoring your girl when it’s that time of the month lol

I've been moving stuff back into cash for a while now but it's tough because the market is always so tempting to dip into.

Although there's a couple of positions I took that I wish I didn't but we can leave that for the short-term thread haha.

Anyone looking into or have interpipeline?

I think it could be a decent one to hold onto long term. Building that new poly plant and all.

I own IPL. Very high dividend and usually when they are this high you see a cut but I'll continue to hold.

I hold their pseudo partner here, Pembina. Hold some long in my LIRA, and swing trade some here and there in my little personal side account.

I don't know when or if the capital expenditures will start affecting their stock price prior to profits rolling in from the PP plant?

I've really wanted to get into Pembina. Have seen a number of Beyonders say that they hold it.

I'm just waiting for another recession or at least another December-sized correction before putting my cash reserves into my watchlist.

Been watching both Pembina and IPL, haven't grabbed either yet but I've been telling myself if IPL dropped below 20$ I'd get in. Now I want to see if it's going to drop some more.
