Well what's your view on the broader market and potential catalysts for movement up or down? If you think a covid vaccine means the entire economy will expand, or you think that's already priced in.
I personally think some of the psychology (totally off the cuff, I am not qualified) behind the huge up trend in the market this year, is due to people thinking "shit I might get corona and die this year, why am I saving my money" kind of like a mini mid-life crisis. People are buying tons of stuff and YOLOing money on stonks. So who knows, maybe once everything normalizes and people will have to finally face their debt, we could see it shift to bearish.

I think there's going to be a terrible reckoning about personal and government debt, and it's going to absolutely wreck the average Joe. May mean people with liquidity have amazing opportunities when it happens.

Yes. May all the meanest people unite together to form a super mean team to maximize their liquidity and evil spirits to pounce on and seize ALL the opportunities!

I ended up splitting the investment between SU and RNW (non oil and gas). Down 4% on SU and up on RNW. These are both RSP investments so im not concerned about short term swings. Both pay solid dividends and I have zero concern about the RNW dividend. SU has cut already and i feel like they won't further if oil can stay in this $40 range. I with I would have waited until earnings on SU to buy since they are a couple weeks away. Oversight on my part for not checking when they were coming up.
Sold both of these positions. These were supposed to be long-term but gains were very good so bailed for now.

I'm in to Pacific Bay Minerals (PBM) I like the price right now, looks like some very good prospects in the pipe over the next few months. Got in at .12 and hoping to get out close to 1.00 in the next 8-12 months

I have more comfort investing in big players for a longer time. So someone like Vale immediately comes to mind.
