I don't understand the appeal of a metaverse and it looks like META has staked its future on this idea. I'll get left behind if it takes off, but I'm also not going to try to catch this falling knife.

Dividend Split Corps and Covered Call ETFs, you guys are into weirder shit than me. Higher Cost shit than me too.

I like ETF's that just invest in a basket of common shares that make up an index, and which have the performance of that basket of shares. I'm a simple man.

CHP or NWH is what I'd buy if I wanted to invest more heavily into some form of real estate with dividends. I don't currently own either.

I think VAB is a good investment right now. Real return bond ETF might be worth a look too.

I still think Alberta will be insulated to an extent from any major economic corrections.
O&G is bumping and will continue to bump for the foreseeable future.

I suppose it depends what our dear leader decides to do to fuck with the Alberta economy further though.

Saw that being passed around LinkedIn.

Who really knows what level of shitstorm we're in for the next few years. Just keep consistently plunking money into vehicles you trust for long-term investments.

Could try to time the market and be a better person than me. But I'm not that smart.
