There's about a hundred of these types of charts on fintwit every day. History may not repeat but it rhymes. Interest rates were not zero in '00 or '08 and we didn't have the fed going 'brrr' back then so if things look overvalued now they can keep going for a while (months...years). Depends on if you have the patience to watch all your neighbors get rich while you wait out the crash. Heard another thing on fintwit - stock market is just like the marshmellow test for adults.

Anyone looking into or have interpipeline?

I think it could be a decent one to hold onto long term. Building that new poly plant and all.

I own IPL. Very high dividend and usually when they are this high you see a cut but I'll continue to hold.
Brookfield Infrastructure Announces Intention to Acquire Inter Pipeline Ltd. for C$16.50 per Share in a Transaction Valued at C$13.5 Billion

Well I've been holding IPL and averaging down through all this mess and now this mediocre offer. Hope this doesn't go through at this price but if it does its close to break even for me. So some time wasted. Could have put that money elsewhere.

    ^Holy shit on IPL!!
If their new plant in Sturgeon County commissions and operates relatively smoothly, (unlike NWR and their derp Gasifier) that's going to be a money maker. This really surprises me.

I've been watching this and saw a decline on their last drilling results (I know nothing about gold drilling results). I'm assuming these weren't very positive so what's your reason for adding to your position on this one?

These were strong results of high grade gold. They're also backlogged on drilling core analysis and have 6 rigs drilling. If you have followed GBR up to 20 dollars then this one will follow the same path. Gold is better here than at GBR.

EDIT: Make that 10 rigs. Also, every gold mine play is in the shitter lately not sure why. I suspect it's gold price volatility. It's ripe for a buyout.

Until it gets bought out. Same with GBR, I hold both. Could be 3 months could be a year. My father says they need to evaluate the resource first and then a buy out will happen. So until they're done drilling and come up with a resource estimate that won't happen. Major find either way.

Eric Sprott a ~15% position in AMX. Might have you join you on this one.

You guys are making me want to drop some $$ on AMX. Talked to a geologist friend who specializes in gold mining and says they have a high grade gold deposit...

Keep an eye on ARKX when it debuts, likely close to end of March.
    Currently in quiet period.

With so much stuff happening with SpaceX, NASA, etc., the public will want to get into some space related action regarding public companies in that realm.
Another thing as well is that if SpaceX, Starlink, Blue Origin ever does decide to go public, you know Cathie is going to load the boat on this. This is one ETF that I would want someone competent to manage.

In Cathie we trust, ARKK, ARKG, ARKX.

Elon buying nickel. That is, he appears to be buying the island from Goro, which is technically only one of three mass producing nickel mines in the world. Norilsk, Sudbury, and New Caledonia (Goro).

Elon buying an island for metal would be super long term.

    Save your Nickels.
