I still think Alberta will be insulated to an extent from any major economic corrections.
O&G is bumping and will continue to bump for the foreseeable future.

I suppose it depends what our dear leader decides to do to fuck with the Alberta economy further though.
Trudeau and his merry band of morons truly thought that we'd all be on solar and wind by now.

Coupled with his unbridled spending, they need money real bad.

Saw that being passed around LinkedIn.

Who really knows what level of shitstorm we're in for the next few years. Just keep consistently plunking money into vehicles you trust for long-term investments.

Could try to time the market and be a better person than me. But I'm not that smart.

anyone hold high yield dividends, ie dfn.to, lbs.to etc?
Boston Pizza is my main dividend player. I'll be looking to pick up more during the recession.

Oh and in case someone thinks this is a joke. BP's is an 8.1% dividend. Very good.

I've had enough of FOBI and their shit. I'm 50/50 on eating the ~50% loss and moving on, It's lost so much at this point I might as well hold.

    Maybe BP's... Maybe.

I think the play is going to be shorting/being out of the market Q1/Q2. Even O&G I feel will get dragged down by the downdraft. Should be some great opportunities mid-late next year.

Tech as an investment is bust IMO until we return to QE/free money again.

FOBI I have lost so much and I am just going to let it ride. Hopefully it bounces back in 5 years

Dogs of the TSX strategy - less risky than picking one or two really high dividend payers, if that's your preference.

O&G should be generally strong cash generating machines, that's my prediction

What is the appeal of FOBI? They have negative revenue growth and are losing money. Total revenue was 2 million with a market cap of 34 million. Is there some magic sauce they are brewing that will turn them around?

So sell low and hope to fuck you get in at the right time? Even index etfs pay some dividends.

QE ain't returning any time soon. It's basically impossible in a mid-inflation environment.

It would fluctuate ~25% every month or so regularly earlier in the year. So I was unashamedly buying the dip and selling high.

Some people love to gamble. Like everyone buying Camber Energy. Literally a dog shit pile but it trades, reverse splits, moves up, etc.

Inverse Cramer ETF is going live!

SJIM's investment objective is to engage in transactions designed to perform the opposite of the return of the investments recommended by television personality Jim Cramer.
