Iraqi Shoe Thrower Gets Three Years

I don't get this,

An Iraqi journalist who gained widespread acclaim throughout the Arab world for hurling his shoes at President Bush during a visit in December was sentenced to three years in jail by a court on Thursday.

On the other hand, The man who hit Alberta Premier Ralph Klein in the face with a cream pie at Calgary Stampede was sentenced to 30 days in jail.

Maybe this guy should have thrown a PIE at bush insted of a shoe...

LOL hardly. In truth nobody really cares that some random guy threw his shoes at Bush and with time it will be forgotten. Except in backwards ass countrys that will try to make this guy a hero, because it is the ONLY victory they got against the evil bush administration.

He is a celebrity in Iraq now, he is known across Europe and many other parts of the world. It's very ignorant of you to call somewhere different a "backwards ass country". We may not know his name but he will have his place in history if not today then tomorrow.
