I was there this afternoon. When the other group confronted us near the courthouse, the CPS were active in protecting us and allowing us to get our message across. They then allowed us to board a city bus which we had all to ourselves. WP

The Arian GAYard, may have got a message out, its too bad it felt on deaf ears. They are definately the minority in this situation....its kinda funny that they still keep fighting. Reminds me of cockroaches. I wonder what the collective iq of the group of what...60? Most likely around 80 im thinking. I guess its only a matter of time before people with mental deficiencies such as these, get together in a group. Nobody else will hang out with them

Nice pic, look how small that guy is in comparison to the police. Looks like an absolutely tiny jean claude van damme. Seriously - is the guy in the picture German or French - He has facial features that makes me think French.

Funny thing, I was at the Westhills Superstore tonight and I counted at least 6-7 Asian-White couples including myself (lost count)...one of them had their kid with them too. How does that make you feel gmc_yukon?

Honestly, I can understand some of their hatred, but I mean, if you don't like it, stay out of the city. Most of these guys are from Lethbridge anyways...so stay in Lethbridge...they don't have to worry about non-Whites taking over a shithole like Lethbridge so what are they worried about?

I would not be suprised to see Rob Anders at the rally - not as a supporter - but taking notes on who to take down. it didnt fall on deaf ears. they got national media coverage, and caused a huge disruption. their march was a huge success really. why? because everyone (stupidly) gave them the attention they wanted. 400 protesters? the only way to protest people being idiots is to ignore them. thanks to everyone else, these guys are celebrities now.

political protests are one thing, you want to influence lawmakers. but why would you protest some retarded kids that don't have any influence or credibility to begin with?

im curious how they got police escorts though. id like to hear more about that part of the story.

Because as funny as it may sound, I bet they were at risk of being attacked by the counter protesters, so the police were doing their jobs to protect them just like they would anybody else.

As a side comment, whenever I see unpopular rallies like these, the protesters make a point to be non-violent as to not draw negative press towards them. The ones being violent are usually the counter protestors. In this case it is very ironic and hypocritical of the counter protestors to act violent, confrontational and show their “intolerance of intolerant people”

I don't particularly care about the kids that go out to demonstrate for 'cred' or to fit in, but I'm happy to see more socially active youth willing to take a stand than to sit at home and hope playing xbox will improve the situation.

Demonstrators probably don't care about influencing lawmakers - I think they're more concerned with influencing low-income, loner youth in this city that are being targeted by white supremacists.

Theres a lot of pictures of white people standing toe to toe with those guys, but the reason why some have their faces is covered is fear of being firebombed. One of the guys that is head of one of the anti-racist groups, Jason Devine got firebombed last year and the Aryan Guard was suspected of doing it.
