Life is a Gamble.
How is breaking the law not being a criminal? Does it offend you that you are yourself a criminal?
I have broken then law. So that makes me a criminal. It is a clear as that.

Not quite. Speeding isn't a "crime" as defined by the Criminal Code of Canada. It's breaking the law, but not committing a crime.Originally posted by R154

by that logic everybody is a criminal, sometimes laws are not based on whats right and wrong, its based on what those in power think is right and wrong, in california medical marijuana is legal but according to state law its illegal, does that make people using medical marijuana criminals even though they are actually following the law?Originally posted by R154

Technically, YES. That was the point I was making. In the grand scheme of punishment VS crime. We need to adjust our punishments.Originally posted by gatorade

Are you less offended, that I called myself a criminal too?Originally posted by 01RedDX
Because not everything is a criminal code violation.
For the record I was going to defend your other position on repeat offenders but now I won't because you called me a criminal.
It has been well established, that I cant actually call you a criminal, as I was wrong. If it is not an offense you can go to jail for, then you cant be a criminal. However you can be convicted for breaching any clause of the motor vehicle act.
I retract my labeling of you reddx. However, that doesnt make my previous positions any less valid. Thank you for the comment either way.

So now that's we've established that your statement is pure speculation, pulled directly from your ass, with no basis in reality, you demand that I refute it?Originally posted by R154
I will admit my statement about [people who go to jail become apathetic towards johny law] as being more of a sentiment then fact. You have done little to debunk my sentiment, however. Regardless of its insinuation, or implication, is it not true that someone who is in jail becomes even less concerned with his future with regard to punishment?
Haha.
I resent you posting stupid shit. And for the record, I've made no Ad Hominem attacks.Originally posted by R154
I resent your ad hominem remarks towards me.
Ad Hominem would be if I'd tried to call you stupid to prove your statements were incorrect.
I proved your statements were incorrect, and used that as a basis to declare you stupid. There's a big difference.
But don't get all riled up. It's just the internet. I'm sure you're a fine, upstanding, god fearing, not-stupid, young man.
Actually, I've expanded my point to comical extents. Had you, instead of immediately getting your panties in a twist after my first post, taken a moment to reread what you'd written and considered what a post hoc argument is, I'm sure you would have realized that I was right from "go", and we'd have saved ourselves a half dozen posts of me trying to explain it to you.Originally posted by R154
Instead of expanding your point you reverted to argumentative tactics

Think before you post, and I've got nothing to say.Originally posted by R154
however I would appreciate it if you didnt try to dumb me down and drag our discussion down to that level.
I respect you as a poster enough not to do the same to you. Share that courtesy.
You don't get to blame me for you being wrong just because you took exception to the language in my rebuttal.

Whatever, get over it. She was arrested and charged with 40 weapons related offenses. The old saying "You reap what you sow." comes to mind.

Not to put too fine a point on it, but that actually is an Ad Hominem attack. You're trying to use a personal attack on my character to dismiss my point.Originally posted by R154
