    Default Cracked my iPhone screen

    I heard from a friend that I can get an appointment at marketmall apple store and they will replace my screen for free? Anyone know if this is true or not?

    I got mine replaced for free. Took a few days. I didn't drop my phone tho, it cracked on its own in -35C weather.

    it's worth it to at least try. If all else fails, irepair.ca is based out of vancouver, and they do very good work.

    I told them I dropped mine and broke the ringer switch, replaced on the spot

    i would think that if you dropped it, (as i assume you did) and there is physical damage i wouldnt think they would repair it free, but if in for example rage2's case and it was a faulty product then it should be free

    A buddy had a problem with his iphone a month or two ago and went into the Market Mall Apple store. They ended up replacing it for free, he was told that their store has a hardware replacement policy that once a day they can do a hardware replacement for free. You just need to be the lucky one that gets the hardware replacement for free that day.

    Anyone else heard of this?

    The above statement is not true.

    But They have very good replacement in terms of their products.

    I have brought ipods in numerous times and they have been fully replaced infront of me.

    No there is a good chance a dropped phone would be replaced for free.

    if youre looking to get it done locally i do iphone repairs as well, and will be faster, cheaper and local

    try rage's solution first, a free phone is the best option otherwise i can help you out
