That thread was garbage. It got off topic fast which rendered it useless. There's a lot of people around here in a market for a tv. Just no one wants to take the time time to haggle. If someone were to offer me cost +10% i'd buy a tv right now but everyone i knew moved on from the industry.

hahahah i'd give anyone cost +10% on TV's all day long... only problem is any good deal in a flyer is cost -10%.

No such thing as a group buy on a TV. A good deal in any store will tagged on the floor for cost+5%. The days of cost+10% being a good deal on a TV are over. Trust me.. there has been a huge change in TV sales in the last 5 years. Speakers and accessories are all thats left for high margin items.

That is why when you go try and buy a TV, they won't move on the price much at all unless you buy cables, speakers, a mount, or whatever. They just discount the accessory and tell you you're paying less for the TV instead. You pay for it one way or another.
