Well this week was the ultrasound and we have learned our baby is a girl.. So we have been thinking of names for the past few days..

So far we like Mackenzie and Robyn

But we are more then open to other names.. those baby books and internet sites for names would take forever just to find a few good ones.. So what are your kids name or names you like?

A pretty popular name for girls right now is Ava, our 10 week old baby's name is Isla Isabella, the problem is most people read her name as IS-LA, it's pronounced as I- LAH, but anyways other names we liked are :

Also, our first choice for our daughter's middle name was Elena, but we went with Isabella instead.

My friend's name is Krystyna, I like that one. Or you could use Nevaeh (nev-ay-ah), it's heaven spelled backwards.

What's with people naming their kids normal names, but with weird spelling? Do they really think they're child will be unique and special if their future teachers/employers ask them how to spell their name a million times?

Ray-gan. Reagan like past president Reagan.

It's an old Celtic name.

But my husband loved it as his name Ray.

As far as spellings go. We have been asked to spell Ray, So I say Romeo, Alpha, Yankee we pronounces it Gord.

So even simple names can have many spellings. Kelly, Kelli, Kellie, Kelley.

My own name...Krista, nobody can get the ending I get Krystal, Kristen, Kristi, Kirsten. I just pretty much respond to anything after Kris. I don't have one certificate with my name spelled correctly. because of all the combination. Not including the Ch version of Chris.

I pity what Krystyna has to go through when people ask what her name is.
