Default Just a little project we've just completed. Sc300 2jZ...56k NO WAY!!!

So, where to begin, we've been working on this swap for about 6 months now when we find time. This is our first swap of this variety, and also was a very challenging swap, but here we are, mechanical is done and car is going in for paint within the month. Check out the pictures and descriptions, tell us what you think. We do sr20 swaps mostly, so far we've done about 15 swaps here in calgary. This was our first 2jz into an sc300 swap, so check it out anyways.

Here is our unsuspecting victim....little does it know, its about to become a monster....

3000 nuts and bolts later, the bumper comes off.....atleast its stirdy....

Here it comes, out of the car, to find its demise in a junkyard somewhere....anybody want a 2jzGE block and head?

Now it's a NO-jz....as it waits for its new heart.

Do not attempt without proper USDM water pump. Rad hose...15$...fan...80$...water pump.....priceless...to the point of 700$...yes thats right kids, 700$

Yes, this is what 700$ looks like....and we didnt even get a free blowjob or anything.....

This is the cave that our naughty little walbro now resides in.

The hands of the mad scientist (me) at work.

Well imagine if instead of writing that letter to the editor, she just posts on a car forum for car enthusiasts. That's Kritafo.

Here we are fastening the stock 2jzGE pan....that got interesting....the 2jz pan is ass backwards from this one..

Engine assembled mostly, and downpipe...which doesnt work....stupid megan...ah well...thats what tig welders are for.

A new set of legs for our beast....the old suspension would surely cry with this power plant slapping it around. Anybody need stock sc300 suspension....or soarer...

Mad scientist at work...again. 5 packs of smokes, 5 redbulls, 8 cans of pepsi, and a cry in the corner later, i have successfully extended 18 billion wires by 14". Fuck buying a usdm harness and ecu for 1500+$. Seriously kids...this one made me cry....

This clutch should do, 600 ft/lb torque handling capacity. This should do till next year when the single turbo goes on....look out calgary....were coming for you

And heres a shot of some scrap metal....

And heres the new shizzle.... till we upgrade.

This is what happens after 86 1/2 redbulls and boredome kicks in.

Stock flywheel machined...i figure if they are proven to 1000 hp, why upgrade....yet...

Act clutch installed and ready to take the brute force of one mister 2jZ

In goes the new heart.....this is the automotive equivalent of chuck norris on crack.

    A big engine needs a big what.....INTERCOOLER!!

    Almost done...almost done... almost done

Heres its new heart in its new hole....GREAT SUCCESSSS!!!

    Other Side......

So hope you enjoyed seeing the pictures. Anybody want this swap? hope you have lots of moneyyyyy

Yah, his cousin wanted to dress it up just a little bit. This time next year, everything will be steel braid and AN fittings. Right now, with retaining the twins, it would be way too much work and wasted time to do the AN and steel braid now, so we'll save it for later.

Its a possibility maybe, but from what i understand, the tranny we are using apparently will take quite a bit of abuse. If that doesnt work i think we'll go to the previous supra tranny, r154, apparently its retardedly tough. From what i understand, to make the 6 speed work, there is extensive modification to the tranny tunnel and where the shifter comes thru, as far as i know.

Next year will be single turbo, engine management, bigger injectors, and we'll go from there i guess.

hey.....we aren't made of money. It's accessable and affordable. Upgrade later if necissary but good for now. :p

just out of curiosity tho....what is the "truth" about megan racing. Yah, some of their stuff sucks, but some is of mid quality which is what their target market is. Ive used many of their downpipes and exhausts without anything breaking. Manifolds SUCK, thats for sure. I see nothing wrong with the suspension system, seems of good quality machining and steel used, easy to adjust. I guess we'll see

Oh ok, The Toyota Silicone for oil pans and etc for engines is black FIPG.
The Silicone for the manual transmissions, transfer cases are Orange.

As long as you're using the right silicone, I had to make sure. I don't know what Nissan's use.
