Edmonton Night Life... Other things 2 do!

So me and my friends are going to Edmonton on May 8th on Friday and coming back Sunday May 10th I beleive, just wondering any good clubs we should check out, also and crazy places besides the mall, looking to party as it is my birthday. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated also hotels near the clubs and all that.

If you must, take a stroll down Whyte Avenue... plenty of places to find yourself whatever sort of trouble you're seeking... but I can't even remember names since I avoid Edmonton like the plague, and haven't been down Whyte Ave in 7-8 years now.

when i went to west ed mall about 7 years ago there was a club called rum jungle attached to the mall that seemed pretty impressive to me, maybe there are others attached to the mall?

and malls = girls so it would make sense to me

Roadhouse, Ironhorse, the globe are all clubs I some what enjoyed when in edmonton. There is also a place alot like the warehouse if you feel the need to party past 3, it is called the Y.

It's called the Empire Ballroom now. Pretty nice spot.

A sweet hotel on whyte is called the Matrix hotel, right above Julious Bario. Great place for all your stumbling needs. Downton has gotten some better clubs...100club, The Bank, fluid, etc.

Definetley take one day/night to spend on whyte ave...its basically 17th ave with twice the bars/lounges in a much smaller strip (less walking and no cover). Billard Club is usually a good time and Dirty pretty is a newer club thats right across the street.

I can't remember if theres still a club at west ed, but if your looking for a nicer club then spend the other night on jasper ave and go to Halo or the bank.
