Thats a crazy high risk sport. Im surprised theres not more serious injuries and deaths.
Watching the video it looked like he might have died on impact. If he didnt though, it didnt look like he got very good medical attention. They moved him pretty quick and didnt appear to stabilize his neck or spine at all so even if he was alive, they could have killed him when they moved him. Take a look at other forms of motorsport or even NFL football how long it takes before they move someone after a collision.

RIP and condolences to all friends and family.
hoyl shit that was pretty hard to watch.

I was going to disagree with you on the medical attention, because when I saw the 'raw feed' video they were there very quickly and I thought they did a good job putting him on the backboard, and that they supported his head well while they moved him. I looked at it again, and you're right- they actually did a piss-poor job of putting him on the board, not supporting his head at all (like all they were worried about was getting him out-of-sight as soon as they could)Originally posted by TACO.VIDAL

Wow that video sends chills down my spine... that is exactly why I got out of freestyle motocross, after I got off easy after a few knee surgarys. Rip
