OK I've been so swamped with work this week I haven't had time to do an overview yet. If anyone feels like tackling it, you're more than welcome to and I'll copy it to the first post.
I might have some time to write something tomorrow .

News
Weather information has been found and will now be added. We're looking at 33 on friday, 34 for qualifying on saturday and 31 for race day. One interesting thing to note is that there is a possibility of sandstorms on Sunday, so we'll see how that affects the race.
I'll leave the rest of the details for you to fill in Rage.
Cheers.

Some pics to start off the weekend
McLaren asymmetric exhaust outlets. Anthony Davidson seems to think that with water and oil cooling being on different sides of the car, the outlets are sized accordingly.
Brawn with virgin galactic livery
Some of Toyota's diffuser. I have herd the words "triple deck diffuser mentioned" before. And I guess I can see what they are talking about.
Looks like Mclaren was using flow-vis again on Heikki's car in FP1.. Hopefully they are adding some beneficial new parts this weekend!
They don't have much changes this race. It's basically the China spec car, with minor changes to the rear diffuser. Flo-vis was used on it. They said it got them a few points in downforce.

I'm hoping for a regular boring dry race with no sandstorms.

Clean roads, clean driving, Ferrari breakdowns... Everything that makes a good race.

wow never realized how hard the teams are running their suspension setup, or maybe there hasn't been a race that has really allowed the speed for that set up
Good qualifying this morning... Toyota 1-2..
Now off to work with very little sleep!
Sutil was handed a 3 spot penalty for blocking Webber, who gets bumped from 19 to 18 (wooo).
Trulli and Button both qualified better than their teammates despite more fuel.

It will be interesting to see if the Brawn guys can hang in there, or just fade away. As long as they get on the podium once in a while, it will stay close. Toyota, Brawn, and Red Bull. Add in Lewis Hamilton, and Toyota's poor performance in rain, it could be really interesting.
BMW looks like they'll have an interesting pit strategy. If there are no long yellows they might be dangerous.
Vettel followed by the BMWs would be my bet.
hm a 3 grid spot penalty. Obviously there haven't been any precedents set here for someone deliberately swerving across the track to block someone since most of the blocking occurs unknowingly by cars driving in dirty air behind other cars going all out in which they receive 5 or 10 grid spot penalties.
I was waiting for Rage to bust that out :POriginally posted by buh_buh

haha. Lucky for Sutil he doesn't drive a McLaren. That would've been a 1 year ban.
