Vancouver Airport

Hey guys/gals,

I'm gonna be in Vancity for the liberal convention, and I have to leave on Sunday morning, after all the fun/hoopla.
My flight is early in the morning, and i'm wondering what the best way to get to the airport would be from downtown? It's my first time going to vancity so I'd like to know in advance so i'm not running around like a chicken with it's head cut off.

I heard that they are making a "canada line" but it's not completed yet, right?

If anyone can help me out that'd be sweet!

Take the airport shuttle city bus to the airport exchange - then take the B-line (express) city bus downtown.

Yeah the canada line basically goes directly from down town to the airport.

It would be a decently short cab ride, about $25ish I bet.. Or for transit, I think the 98 bus goes pretty much straight there too. But there's more info here http://www.translink.ca/

Cab it... or better yet, spend a couple more bucks and take a limo... the difference is cost is basically nothing and you can ride in style.

Cab it. I haven't met a driver who doesn't drive like they are playing Crazy Taxi in the arcade yet. Good times.

Like everyone said. Take a cab but if you're staying at a hotel they may have a shuttle.

the limos from the van city airport are dirt cheap

Cab from downtown is around 30-35 with tip.

Limo/sedan is 45.

I do this almost every 2 weeks. TAXI is the best option especially early in the morning...costs me 30 bucks and i live in the heart of downtown (west end).

I just took two busses - they come frequently.

Depending on the time which you are trying to get to the airport and if you have minimal baggage this might work.

Yeah, My flight will be at 9 in the morning.

I wanna beat traffic and get there in time.

Cab is the only real option. I live right in Yaletown and most of the time that I fly i try to book for 6am flights and I can just walk out onto the street and within a minute or 2 fine a cab. Ask him to turn off the meter and you'll give him $25 and you'll be fine.
