    Default Backpacking Puerto Rico

Hey guys, so I am deciding whether or not I should go to Puerto Rico for a few weeks, and I am trying to find hostel prices so I can create my budget and I cannot for the life of me find the price of any hostels.

    Any ideas?

Why are those websites so confusing to use?

Is there a range of prices anyone who has been there can give me? What is average expected cost for one night in a hostel?

Rincon Inn (listed above) = $25 USD per night

Looks to be one of the better hostels in Puerto Rico, so I would expect you'll be paying that, or less.

    Bed price from: 13.42 USD
    Single Room: 24.40 USD
    Double/Twin Room: 36.60 USD
3 Bed Private Room: 51.24 USD
4 Bed Private Room: 63.44 USD

Single, shared room with (4-8 beds per room), probably looking at $10-25 USD/per night per person.

Some if you want rooms with 2, 3, or 4 beds only (ie. "private" hostel rooms) you have to book every bed to reserve the room, even if your just one person....

Thanks man I saw those on the website linked in the post above mine, but here's also what it said on that website:

"Hostels > South America Hostels > Ecuador Hostels > Puerto Rico Manabi "

    Ecuador?

Yeah, that third link is wrong, it's pointing to the Puerto Rico Manabi in Ecuador.

The Rincon Inn is definitely in the Puerto Rico you're thinking of

Perfect thanks, so it will be less than $25 USD? Is there any place I can find cheaper last minute flights? Looking to leave next Tuesday or Wednesday.
Best deal I've found so far is about $765 everything included.

Probably won't find anything too much cheaper this last minute.

Not sure how definite your travel plans are, but have you considered Guatemala or Costa Rica instead? They've got some cheap ass flights departing in May.

Costa Rica will be the most expensive central american country to backpack around, but it's still pretty damned cheap. A bed at a hostel can be had from $5-15. I'd much rather backpack around central american than puerto rico lol

Man, if I had the flexibility to go anywhere next week, I would be all over those flights to Tokyo ($500 USD with taxes). That's the deal of the year for sure!

Mind you it would be a little more expensive in Japan than Puerto Rico
