    Default sticky gears

Now that the weather is getting colder, it's getting harder for me to shift. Especially to first when I first start the car. After about 20 mins, the gears seem to be responding better. Does the tranny fluid need to be replaced? Or is it something else?

    Thanx for all your advice.

Nah that's natural for the crappy DSM trannies. Get some "BG Syncroshift" tranny fluid, it helps the DSM tranny like you wouldn't believe.

ya either BG Synchroshift or whats easier, just go to a chevy dealer and pick up some GM Synchromesh...same stuff. I use it in my tranny and the difference is amazing

Quite a few guys also use Redline fluid, but i've heard that it reduces the life of your tranny.

You won't find BG Syncroshift at a GM dealership, but I think you might find the GM Syncromesh there. If not give Pro-Drag a call in Edmonton, I believe that's where you can get the BG Syncroshift stuff.
