Okay.... does anyone know where to get a front fork replacement? Preferably with some shocks on em. I was out doing my biking today and coming off a curb, my front wheel hit the pavement and I heard a very nasty squeak of metal. Stop right away and look at the front fork and it's got a hairline crack starting to form right where the wheel nut meets the fork itself :\ So my bike is out of commission until I either replace the fork or replace the bike, whichever is cheapest (there is a canadian tire special (read: decently crappy but gets the job done) bike that has front shocks, decent features 26" wheels, $129 before tax)

Also, is it worth replacing just the fork on a 11-odd year old bike (I got the bike when I was 16 o.O) or just getting a new craptastic bike?

I bet if you check out some used bikes you will find a decent one for a few hundred.
