    hahaha

it was just an accident, ill get a door from a partout and get it painted. expensive, but accidents happen.

EDIT: i just need someone to reccommend a shop that can get it functioning again.

pick-n'pull will be your best bet. Double check the hinge isn't fucked, they can't put up with much abuse when you bend them that way.

When you say 'get it functional' what' currently not functional about it?

I'd be pretty damn pissed cause that's fucking retarded... Does she not look behind her before backing up? I'd hate to be behind her in a parking lot dude lol. Forget getting the door fixed, it'd be cheaper to get a new door from pnp.

I don't know why everyone is saying picknpull...they normally don't have doors for 99 Preludes.

Give A1 Honda Parts a call. It's a division of A1 Autobody. I'm sure they'll be able to help with parts.

im sure the hinge is fine because the door still lines up straight with the body. the window frame is bowed so the door wont close.

its going to be quite rare but hopefully i can find a pearl white 5th gen

yeah thats what i was going to do in the end. i was hoping i would be able to find a partout that was the same color as mine. how much do you guys think it will cost to paint a door? and would i have to get it done by honda to get the original paint?

Paint is 10 years old. It will never match. You will have to get it blended to the rest of the car.

I would hope she is paying for the repairs... I bet it will cost you $2-3K all said and done if you are replacing and painting the door.

That's kind of high I think. I realize it's a different car, but I had a brand new fender and door replaced on my mustang, all in, it only came out to $2000.

Pretty sure Benyl is right on the money with $2,000 to repair it PROPERLY. Could be done much cheaper though.

Are you hinting that my $2000 repair job done at Concours, through insurance, wasn't done properly?
