I like lazy monkey near the macs by churchill in the nw. We go every sunday before dinner at my parents house. We've only had the hk style teas and theyre pretty good. Bubbles are good too if a little sweet at times.
+1 for Lazy Monkey. I only get their Green Tea Milk tea there; i get it half sweet with a mix of pudding and grass jelly. Other times i get the mini pearls; love these way better than the regular pearls.

That " Mi noodle " is actually pretty good! Not just one best noodle / snack place in town, their bubble tea is good too! (Regular)

Been going to the new Presso-tea on 17ave a lot lately. Really like their bubble tea. Chatime is a close second, and then O-Cup. Used to go to Lazy Monkey lots until they stopped selling the crystal jelly.

Just had their Wintermelon Lime Tea with basil seeds and coconut jelly. It's pretty dope.

Presotea looks delicious and I like that they offer the level of sweetness. I always find drinks too sugary.

Tried Presotea tonight and the owner recommended his personal version; winter melon lime with basil seeds and grass seeds no sugar. It was dope.

Try Again might be my #2 now.

Café 16, never really liked their bbt. Eggette/Eggies/Bubble waffles way too much batter. It's only a half ass go-to spot since you can get seating over Bubblemania nowadays; I guess you can also shoot over to Tea Funny or Mango Mania within these 1 km radius.

They've got this Pineapple bun, except for the hot bun with cold butter, it's ice cream.

Went to Gong cha and it was packed. Flavours were good but I would get everything 50% sweet. I like it a lot more than Chatime across the street. 1600+ locations worldwide!

    Presotea.

    I basically live there.

I am still looking for a place that has rose milk tea.

I can't name a single place where regular sugar is appropriate.

Why is the line up out the door at The Alley everyday for the past 2 weeks? Wouldn't have expected the hype to last this long.
    What's so special about Deerioca?

Apparently it's THE bubble tea joint in Asia right now. I think these joints comes and goes as fads. They are only good until the next guy think of something else. Last time I drove by Center St on Canada Day and seems like Gong Cha is taking a huge hit.

Here's what's so special about Deerioca
Deerioca is the brand’s trademark tapioca pearls, which are cooked with brown-sugar lava for two hours. The slow-cooking process makes them satisfyingly soft and chewy with a distinct sweet flavour, and is served warm.
