Default Arizona photo radar ticket in a rental car

Apparently I got one last month while there on vacation. Fucking Dollar Rental car charged my credit card $25 to send the info to the state to send me a ticket (which I have yet to see - they said its in the mail). Anyways, I do plan on visiting AZ again so what happens if I don't pay this, especially given it would be an RO ticket to a vehicle owned by Dollar. I would never rent from them again btw, and am contemplating returning the $25 charge they hit me with. Anyone have any similar experience?

I don't pay speeding tickets in the states if I don't figure I'll be caught again within the next 5 years.

Worked so far... 1 more year for Washington, 2 more for Montana

I think most if not all car rental companies will charge you a fee if you get a parking, speeding, unpaid toll ticket. Its usually written in the small print of the contract and referred to as an "administration fee" or similar. $25 isn't all that bad. I rented a car from Payless Car Rental in Florida (possibly the worst company in the world) and long story short, I accidentally went through the prepaid lane of a 75cent toll. That earned me a $25 ticket and a $50 administration charge from Payless. I don't think I even had a choice to pay it or not, they just billed it to my credit card. I guess I could have sent the payment back but it wasn't really worth the while for $75. Plus I did blow through the toll, I'll pay a little more attention next time.

I am assuming it is one of those bitch spped cameras they have every mile on the freeways - pay it. Happened to me, I have some good family friends who work for Mesa Police, their advice was to pay it as it can come back to bite you in the ass - especially as a Canadian. As far as the $25, it is only $25. Avoid the hassel.

The warning signs for two miles didn't help you avoid this?

Try getting a speeding ticket in the UK. They send the ticket to the rental company and the rental company automatically charges your credit card.

a random $320 charge on your credit card a week after you get home is definitely a piss-off.

Yeah yeah, I had 2 crying babies and 2 grumpy moms in the car, I wasn't exactly paying too much attention. I guess I should just pay this SOB, just chaps my ass. If it was in Delaware or some buttfuck state I'd never visit again I'd say screw it, but I for sure will go back to AZ.

Enterprise does that in Alberta, probably all of Canada. They charge an automatic $30 admin fee on top of the price of the ticket directly to your credit card.
