I've had an Omega Geneve in the past. Probably from the 1970's. Usually the cases were gold filled, so the gold might start wearing off on the high points, but I have seen some that were solid gold.
It's a nice watch!
cool to see some others with lum-tec's!
just ordered my first - CAN'T WAIT TO GET IT !

You can get a lot of the models for $400 though because the new line is dropping and the previous year prices dropped heavy (hence why I paid 40% less then mine costs)

bought mine from the canada distributor

their prices were far better than going on the official usa site.

Starting to get into watches, thinking of picking this guy up:
What do you guys think?
^ Serious? That thing is ugly and at 65mm, I would call it a clock. It is HUGE for any average guy. Once you try it on in person you will change your mind. I also wouldnt pay close to $400 for it. Try Citizen, Seiko, Tissot, Swiss Army.

I guess I have ugly taste, cuz I actually quite like the look haha!
It's $230. But I'll keep looking, thanks!
It's all up to the person, really. If it looks good for them, then what's it to you? You buy the watch for yourself.Originally posted by 96integra

I actually took a wrist shot of it last year because of how ridiculously big it is. It would be a nice watch if it was smaller.Originally posted by anarchy

You Watch gurus might be able to help me find a watch that i keep on picturing in my head.
I am looking for a wooden-faced watch, rectagular, silver case, leather or steel/wood strap, silver arms.
I love the idea of nature fuzed with machines and electronics. So any other wooden ideas are appreciated. I have been looking for a few weeks now, and so far nothing.
