Default Two theft attempts on my 96 civic today!!

I'm big time upset about having to find my 96 civic hatch broken into this morning. I open the door, papers everywhere, steering column covers busted off and my steering wheel cranked. I don't have time to deal with it, so i use a different car for the day.

I get home to take a better look at the damage, and low and behold, the drivers door is open again! Now the whole steering column is ripped apart, and the steering is jammed and the car is undrivable. This happened the second time during the day right in front of my house.

Take care everyone, their are lots of bad people who don't respect others out there.

    What a bad day!

The sad thing (for them) is that they had the opportunity to steal it twice and failed both times. The Civic is one of the easiest cars to steal!

Sorry to hear about that man...

Sucks to hear, but be glad you're dealing with some dumb theives. Given two cracks at stealing a fairly easy to steal car, they still couldn't do it.

It has an alarm, but they snipped the wires to the siren. I'm in the process of organizing the repair...it's all out of pocket, sucks
I'd rather pay than, put a claim on my insurance
