LF: Lawn Fix Up Help

Hi,

Was looking to see if there is someone or knows of someone decent priced to work on my yard?
I was looking to have my yard over seeded, also there is a cement walk way from the front leading to the back yard and along the 2 sides there is a rock trail. The plastic underneath along the rock trail must have gave, weed and grass is spurting out. Sucks buying a place in the winter when you can't see how the lawn is

Thanks Dorpdat, I'll give them a shout and get them by to see what they can do for me

I've thought about DIY Adidas but considering the hours I work and the hours that would be needed to remove all the rocks and not having a truck or tools to remove them just might not work. The lawn is not as small as you think

Im helpin my dad do alot of landscaping around the house and its not as easy as pie, but i think the satisfaction in the end is worth it. But then as well, we are both free haha

My buddy did landscaping for a while (not a pro or very experienced) but considering your not building a side wall, 2 people should be able to get the job done in one day given that material is ready.

if you could give me some more details maybe me and my friend could do a side job for a lil extra cash

take pictures.....There are a million little hack companies in Calgary. Measure the area that you want fixed and 20 more guys will give you a better accurate price.

Thanks everyone for your time and help, I will contact a few ppl and get a few quotes

Aerate and overseed. (rent from Home Depot, throw grass seed all over).

Add top dressing. Spread out evenly over grass, should see 50/50 grass and top dressing. (buy a bag of it for Home Deopt, all it is is healthy top soil).

Water regularly.

Buy a huge thing of round up and spray along the rocks to kill grass that is growing up. Round Up kills everything green, so keep it off of the main lawn.

-Maybe I should start a landscaping business on the side?? Then I could charge money for this info.
