Why do you guys care about people speeding in that area so much? Have people been crashing into parked cars?

I have had 2 of my vehicles hit 1 by a drunk driver, the other was a hit and run. The drunk driver torn down the light pole and rip one of my evergreen tree out of the ground. And i've personally witnessed one other so that make 3 directly near my house.

DAMMIT. I forgot my camera and I went for a quick spin over the mountains after the gym today! I would not wanna hit those things at even 20 km/h. TERRIBLE.

I was on site in Evergreen today and saw some moron in an orange VW Golf come flying down the road and hit one of the speed bumps going about 70km/hr, we all had a good laugh. Then 10 mins later the same guy comes flying back up the road and does it again! I guess if you don't give a shit about your car's suspension than the speed bumps don't really deter you much lol... But seriously who the fuck drives 70-80 in a residential neighbourhood and nails speed bumps without even slowing down? What a psycho!\
Also the speed cushions are not 8"-12" high lol, they're 75mm high which is less than 4". 1.9m x 2.2m width/length. The ones on Capri Ave in the NW were actually built a bit higher and were later reduced in size due to the complaints.

Well, I'm all for speed bumps on residential streets if it will slow down all idiot drivers speeding along that streets. I know that our tax dollars are wasted for that bumps... but then again, does these drivers ever listen to NOT speed up all the time?

Back then I was a kid years ago - I used to pedal my BMX bike (when they first come out) over these bumps. They do make great jumping ramps!

Doesn't matter which way I choose to go to work in the morning. I'm destined to hit at least 4 or 5 of those things on my morning commute.

for ef sakes.... why not just a permanent speed cam. Works the same but doesnt mess our cars up like the rest of our city
Joke of the day: What does a Harley and a Civic with a 3" exhaust have in common? They sound fast but just got passed by minivan driving soccer mom late for a game.
