Here's 3 of my most recent favorites!

the "photoshop magic"
1) photomerge in photoshop
2) make sure the ends are continuous (since its a 360, where the right side ends, the left begins)
3) flip vertically (optional, but thats how u get the globe looking effect, u can keep it horizontal to get the opposite effect.
4) filters --> distort --> polar coordinates
5) resize the picture to the shorter dimension to get a square pic


annnd that's it. you'll get a sphere looking photo. u can play with the crop of the photo before you hit the polar coordinates filter to get different looking effects. (can also have the filter as an adjustment layer and switch back and forth to the lower layer to see how it looks.

but there is lots you can vary from what's in that set of instructions, trial and error is the best way to figure it out.

kinda gets old tho, im not really huge into panos, just had an urge to try it out when i saw it, same guy has a really cool photo integrated into a flash app here: http://wvs.topleftpixel.com/09/05/28/

Actually no, 17-70 sigma on a d300 ... I /believe/ it's at 17mm or something similar to.. i was pretty much against the nose of the plane lol

Just took this. I just got my first DSLR, D200 with a 18-200mm lens so I don't really know that much. Thought this picture is decent, let me know what you guys think.
