I don't know. James Cameron is awesome, and Avatar seemed pretty cool until I saw the blue people.
Lets go back to the start
Running in circles

No one ever said it would be this
hard
I'll take you back to the start
I went and saw it on Friday again... Holy man.. Lineups galore!
This is what the 3rd week its been out? and the theatre was still PACKED! I mean packed to the point where people were sitting on the steps!
I think this movie is just amazing! Theres nothing bad that I can say about it..
Brilliant 5 *****
I hope they filmed these and cut them out in post-production so they can make a director's cut DVD. I'd like to see this version of the movie as well.Originally posted by b_t
here's a huge ass list of everything that got cut from a 2007 draft of the Avatar script. Its too bad some of this stuff got left out because most of it was really good...
PS see this in 3D for sure.

Avatar now the top grossing movie of 2009, just passing Transformers 2 while setting a record for highest grossing 4th weekend ever (it beat the #2 movie, Titanic, by about $20 million).
Eat a dick Michael Bay!
Now its less than $500 million behind Titanic worldwide in just under four weeks. Wonder if it has the legs to pass it..

Consider Avatar is charges 30% more than a standard tix and today's ticket is 30% more than 1997's, you'll need a lot more repeat business to beat $1.8B. Even if it does break $1.8B, you are still looking at 40% less attendance.
Admit it, you're curious...Originally posted by Xtrema
