Finally saw it this afternoon on 3D...damn, must say that was a damn good movie.

Did drag on at a couple little points - but I guess it's part of the story/character line development!

And I think he has some kind of agreement where instead of an upfront salary, he takes a bigger cut of the box office than "normal" directors. He must be building a tower like Scrooge McDuck to swim in all his cash XD

I went and saw it on Friday again... Holy man.. Lineups galore!

This is what the 3rd week its been out? and the theatre was still PACKED! I mean packed to the point where people were sitting on the steps!

I think this movie is just amazing! Theres nothing bad that I can say about it..

Avatar now the top grossing movie of 2009, just passing Transformers 2 while setting a record for highest grossing 4th weekend ever (it beat the #2 movie, Titanic, by about $20 million).

Eat a dick Michael Bay!

Now its less than $500 million behind Titanic worldwide in just under four weeks. Wonder if it has the legs to pass it..

I doubt it. Not enough fangirls to watch Leo die in the water.

Consider Avatar is charges 30% more than a standard tix and today's ticket is 30% more than 1997's, you'll need a lot more repeat business to beat $1.8B. Even if it does break $1.8B, you are still looking at 40% less attendance.
