^^ For a sports car in that price range, you better have enough money set aside for regular maintenance, repairs and insurance. Otherwise, your car will just end up like any other beat old sports car (just like with what happens to a lot of the RHDs that come over here and detoriorate) that someone is trying to unload in the marketplace here or on autotrader...

IMHO, older sports cars are better suited to enthusiasts that are willing to put some elbow grease, time and money into them - not a casual buyer who wants a daily driver.

5th gen prelude for around 5g will probably get you something with really high km's. it might get you a decent 4th gen?

I don't think you can get a 5th gen prelude in decent shape for the price range you're going for. Well not one thats not beat up or have extremely high KM's on it. If you're lucky you could maybe find a civic that's in shape for its year, for the price you're looking to pay. Or if you're really into preludes, perhaps a 4th gen? Clean 4th gens are quite rare to find that are not rust buckets though..

I am in no was associated with the guy, but the 89 turbo Supra in the marketplace looks like a decent deal if you want an outright sports car.

If you don't need/want something so powerful, Preludes aren't a bad bet - they handle nice.

Acura Integra should be on your list too.

On the domestic side, and again in the outright sports car range you could get a Camaro or Mustang - though they typically don't handle quite as well.

If you want suggestions - you really need to hone in on what you want and need. You are likely a younger guy, and getting a really fast car without experience generally isn't a great idea. But if that is what you're looking for, then it would be good to know.

Do you want something with cheaper insurance? Better fuel economy? Quality? 2 door? 4 door? Kms? Luxury?
