Seems fishy. I thought the GTA only came with the 5.7 L98 engine. Got the RPO sheet?

Believe that car did come factory with a 5.0 LB9 engine and the 5.7 L98 was an option.

Yup, its definitely a 5.0 liter GTA...

The GTA did come with the 5.0 LB9 TPI engine. Nothing fishy there.

No the GTA's (and all other 3rd gen T-A's & Camaro's) came with the 5.7L (w/auto) or the 5.0L with the auto or the T5 5-speed. although the 5L 5-speeds are much more rare.

The non-GTA Firebirds & Camaros also came with a 2.8L V6 or a 2.2L I4 option. The 2.2L I4's are ultra rare obviously. Those shared the same "ironduke" engine as the Chevette and the Fiero.
