God of War was definitely PS2 game of the year when it came out.

God of War 2 was even better! Chains of Olympus was alright but still a good game.

I'm so pumped for this one. March 2010 is scheduled release date.

god of war 2 was amazing, i played it front to back twice, rare with alot of games for me, i beat it once and never touch it again

Any of you planning on getting the god of war collection remastered in HD on PS3? It will come with GoW1 and 2 on one blu ray. I think i'm going to get it. A buddy of mine always told me how sweet the originals were, and if I play through them I can get #3 as well.

Well it would likely be around $59.99. Hopefully no more than that. It might even be cheaper which would be a bonus. Looks like God of War 1 and 2 will have trophies in the collection which is added incentive to complete them.

You forgot to mention that it comes with a download voucher for a GoW 3 demo, and it's been priced and dated. (November 17, $39.99). Same day as Assassin's Creed 2.

$39.99 is a great price! I'm going to pick that up forsure. I'm getting the Assassin's Creed Master edition for christmas, so I won't have to worry about playing that one right away!

God of War 1 & 2 were some of the best games I have ever played. #3 has taken forever to come out on P3, I think it came out over a year ago for the PSP. About time!! The trailer looks Sweet. Me and my girl cant wait.

+1 Zedge, I heard the Futureshop Exclusive steelbook will contain this also as it's the same disc.

They are giving the demo out now in the US at GameStop with a pre-order of GoW 3. Not sure if they are here.

I'm in the exact same boat. I was gonna do it for uncharted 2 but I decided to wait for GOW such a bad ass series. Most games revolving around mythology are awesome they already have a pretty wicked storyline to base off of. I wish they would make a Too Human 2, the Norse mythology storyline was awesome.
