Wimbledon 2009!

So I just finished watching Roddick v Hewitt.....fucking STOKED that Andy's in the Semifinals!!!

He's up against the on fire Andy Murray....should be a good match, glad to see Roddick's game is picking up. W00t to the 43 freaking aces and the consistent 130+ mph serving against Hewitt and I was pleased with his volleys and net game.

Anyone else following W?

Yea I was watching as well. Such a close match. Murray and roddick should be a good one to watch.

yup,
love tennis...been playing a few times a week. Roddicks always been my favorite due to his power game but its always been tough knowing that nadal or federer would knock him out.

Go Roddick. Is that tomorrow? or Friday

Haha ext88, we are in the SAME boat. I love roddick for his serve and forehand AND his off court personality - he interviews the best out of the bunch. I do always hate watching Federer run him over...hopefully this won't be the case this year!

After watching Murray's mental collapse in, I think, Australia I can't cheer for the guy anymore. He needs to grow up.

I'm thrilled at the performance that Hewitt put on - making it to the quarters like that was great. Big surprise that Roddick beat Murray, but it doesn't look like anyone can stop Federer from his 15th Grand Slam Championship.

Also, Serena just beat Venus for the Women's Championship, but meh.

And I guess finally, go Nestor!

Go Federer, the king should rightfully take his throne tomorrow as the world's most successful (and arguably greatest) tennis player of all time. Though it woulda been nice to have Rafa at Wimbledon this year.

. It's still an achievement, but I don't think the victory will be as great since the biggest threat to federer, (nadal) isn't at the tournament.
