All it does is tell you, that you are the least mature or most juvenile person in your social circle.

on the other hand, once they do have a house a wife and kids, they will realize they really shouldn't have been in such a rush. It is a known fact that hottest chicks (you know the ones that could have a great career in porn) only pay attention to you when you are a married homeowner with kids.

Gotta go to school and/or get a career/job to get a house, and be financially stable to have a family. Gotta have some social life in order to get married and have kids.. you&me points it out well indeed.

WTF is wrong with us, we should just live on our family's burden and be single forever

Some people do rush but that's not only in Calgary, that happens everywhere.

To me, 20-30 yrs old is a great time to do all those 3 things.

1. Buying a house while your young is a pretty smart move, if you can afford it.

2. Get married if you believe you're mentally, emotionally and financially ready.

3. Having kids at that age range is great because you won't be too old and miserable trying to raise your kids. You'll still be fairly young and be able to relate to them.

i see where the OP is coming form...

1. buy house - instead, where are all the people who want to save their money and travel the world and experience what this world has to offer (i know i want to do this before i buy a house)

2. Get Married - wayy too many people get married too early... personally i would want to get married at the age for 28-32ish.. whats the rush? if you love that person, then you can get married when your older? no diff?

3. Have Kids - same thing with the house, enjoy the life without kids, there's no rush.. nothing is stopping you from having it later in life (and in many cases, your better off financially too)

just my 2cents..

Yup that would be great. However, it costs money to do this so ppl live at home and save up and travel to find that by the time they are 30 they still are living at their parent's place still. Not that its a bad thing but many people want their own place by then.

Well if you know.. you know.. if you were High School sweethearts and are together for 5 years whats the difference in getting married at 23 or 28. Works both ways.

You don't want to wait too long. There is less risk the younger you are. Most ppl I know are having kids around the 30 year old mark. But in the end some people would rather have kids then travel. If you travel a lot when you are young it will take you longer to get to that financially stable position where you could afford to have children.
