    Default Broken sway bar link attachment

    Other than the obvious (replacing the strut), any suggestions on fixing this?

    i've seen alot of messed up suspension components, never seen it break at that part, unless you find someone to make another bracket and rewled it to the strut, i'd have to say it's a good excuse for some coil overs, depending on the car of course, your sw20?

    ^^^
    Yeah you could cut that bracket off, sand it smooth and fab another bracket then weld it on. But replacing the strut might just be easier unless you have access to a welder.

    Yep, for my sw20. I rather like the feel of those strut/spring combo (Illumina 5 way adjustables), as most of my driving is on deerfoot, and I don't want it too stiff. I guess I'm just going to have to replace it.

    Rewelding would probably be the same cost/labour as just replacing the bloody thing
