I've tried the Raid traps with no luck. It's for a rental so I'd like to keep costs down. Any ideas? Exterminator? Someone who will seal up the source? Any idea what this normally would cost?

i found where the ants were comming into my place( bsmt) and i took modle plastic glue and filled it up.. sealed it awsome, then also got this powder stuff and put it around the entrance, every day or so id have 10 or so ants dead, now they are all gone

Make it into very small balls the size of a pea and put them
around your house,and where you see the ants inside.
a couple of weeks goodbye ants.
