My friend is having a wedding up there and provided guests with directions. I was wondering if anyone knows a quicker route and roughly how long it would take to get there. Off the top of my head the directions he gave us started with us taking the Deerfoot (HWY2) to Leduc and then east from there.

Yes I've google map it I was hoping some of the members would provide their opinions.

I have taken a couple routes out through wainwright. They are all within 20 minutes of being the same. But traffic can make the 20 minutes difference no matter what way you go.

I personally take highway 2 up to wetaskawin, through Camrose and stright into Wainwright and continue to where I am going. It ususally takes 6 hours.
