I'd rock that CB any day of the week, get what you want just don't spend a ridiculous amount of money on one, cause if anything happens to it you'll cry

Your 750 is not fast enough? HaHaOriginally posted by SJW
I find the gsxr more comfortable then most. But now that i've ridden a 1000 I think i'm going to switch.
I sat on an R1 and R6 and the riding position is way too aggressive for me.
All I meant by saying that 600cc are basically the same is that the modern 600 cc sport bike gets you the same equipment and same basic output. A newb rider is not going to feel much different. They're all fast.
Buy a bike that feels good to you in regards to riding position and comfort level.

You got your license and hopped on a liter bike?
You're nuts. I've been on a 600 for 3 months now and I can still scare the hell out of myself revving it past 12,000 rpm.

If you're that chick with the giant nose that rides an 06 R1, I think you're a hilarious attention whore. I mean, what 5 foot tall woman who has no idea how to ride, wouldn't get on a litrebike and hang out with all those boys at the shell.
If that's not you, lucky you.
Heres Mine. Yeah Lucky Me Im not that Popular
Huh Wat chik? The Blue R1? its 07 or 08 not 06. BTW Wassup SJW

Not much man, I haven't been riding much since the birth of my son.
And no the 750 is not fast enough. I need more power.

Ah yes, but does your car wake you up with your cock in it's intake as a nice little "Good Morning"? A Car might give you a hard on, but a girl knows just how to deal with it.
i bought an R6 as my first bike. it might not be the best beginner bike, but honestly i had nothing to compare it to, so ya its fast as all hell and can be scary at times, but i ride safe and within my limits. not only that, im taking the course right now as we speak. take the course either way, it will be worth it, ive only gone 2 out of 5 days and its already paid for itself with counter balancing and counter steering.

SanJaunWorm knows what he's talking about.
The building yourself up theory is debatable.
I cannot stress enough a safety course! Best 500 dollars ever.
The R6 is my first street bike too. I took the course already this summer, and yeah, it's nice, but it didn't really teach me anything I didn't know. It would be nice if they could teach a day on a wet pad or something. Rain is a little exciting on these.
That said, 3 months or so after I bought it, my chicken strips are gone and I'm pretty comfortable on it now.
I did, I bought a CB360 which barely does 100 km/h.Originally posted by Raven_R1

The gixxer is just sitting beautifully.
^^^the course is teaching me things i know, but helping me to "perfect" my skills. i can ride and im sure you can, but riding and riding properly are 2 different things altogether.
any monkey can go fast, going slow is a different story
Depends what kind of slow you're talking about... They're really not hard to handle in a parking lot or anything.Originally posted by GQBalla

I ride the shit outta my 750. I know my limits.
Now riding the shit out of a 35 year old bike is a different story. If I wasn't so beefy I woulda highsided my lil honda trying to corner like a gixxer.

slow is the hard part. in a parking lot, ya its fine and easy, but countersteering and balncing at 10k or less is difficult if youre trying to do a 90 degree or something.
Why would you counter steer at 10K or less? You can't even do that on a bicycle.
