first fast car you drove?

We didn't all start (or maybe still haven't started) with fast cars.
What was the first real fast car you drove and blew your mind? Hit boost/Experienced RWD/burned out/jizzed pants and what not?

For me it was driving my friends Aristo! Drove it all day first day he got it and tried everything with it! The pull was amazing and still is. This was after learning to drive with an old Escort and driving a slow ass celica everyday. It was hard to go back and I had to sell it and get something similar.

When I was 16 my first car was a 1988 300ZX. It was not the turbo and only had 165hp but for my first car it was plenty fast. Manual tranny and rwd was lots of fun. I have had faster cars since but it was the first car to give me the feelings mentioned by the OP.

First fast car i drove was my step Dads 1991 M5. I took the keys when he was out of town and went and picked up some buddies at high school to show her off. Took her up to 270 on plummers road off highway 22 South.

Depends what you define as fast. My second car was an 81 Supra - which I viewed as quick because it was a Supra. But really, with 118hp, it was hardly quick. My 3rd was an 1983 Supra - which was pretty quick for me at the time.

But looking back at it, my first actually quick car was probably my 91 Z28.

the car i own is the only one ive ever owned and is about to get a whole bunch quicker.

but id have to say the fastest to date was my dads friends supercharged nissan 350z. too bad it was auto.

Well my first cars were 5th gen preludes, they pulled fairly quick but most of the people know they aren't really that quick. Now my real first fast car was my 2008 Mazdaspeed 3 with 263 hp and 280ft/lb tq. It's a lot of fun.

depending on what year the 350z is, the newer 350 autos are actually really fast, hell even faster than a normal person can shift. I drove my friend's 350z 2007 I believe it was and it was quick.

when i actually looked at the numbers the mazda 3 put up i was pleasantly surprised. kinda cool, i completely didnt expect it.

My first experience with horsepower/torque came from my previous car - a 2002 Mustang GT Convertible. I remember the first time I hit the throttle and the rear tires broke loose.

Prior to that I was driving a gutless 4cyl fox body mustang (90hp I think lolz) so I was use to planting my foot to the floor all the time and it was no big deal. The new car taught me in a hurry that I couldn't do that anymore or I'd find myself wrapped around a pole.

The only car I've ever driven that I consider "fast" would be my uncle's Ford GT that I got to take for a blistering test drive down Sarcee at about 6 am.

First "fast" car would probably be my Dad's Jag X-type, hardly fast but MUCH faster than the 90hp '88 Ford Tempo I had. First really fast car would be my current car haha.
