went through the same thing man .. all i did was get a hotter gf, tried to concentrate on school haha and stack that money sky high. money = happiness for me haha.. of course i have awesome friends and family that are there for me.. but nothing makes me more happy then a late night cruse

Also what helps me is instead of keeping everything in my head, I write down what's in my head so I don't have to keep it in there, at least its solid on a piece of paper. Afterwards I review it, somehow when I read it, it's easier to find the solution for it.

Also with regards to what I said, when you write things down, you don't have to worry about forgetting it. Just don't lose the paper.

Someone said something about MP3 player and roller blades. I'm similar to this, with my bicycle.

Sometimes I just like to be by myself to reflect on things. I think the moments when I'm most in touch with myself are the ones where I'm in my car late at night, the temperature is just right, a good tune is playing and it's just you on the road for mile after mile. I went through a pretty low period this past winter (you know, when everything is falling apart) and sometimes the best part of my day was getting in my car and driving home. I was talking to a friend about this and I told him that I think it was because when I'm in my car, I'M in control, and I will go where I want to go because I can.

Other times I like to be surrounded by people that I know love me unconditionally. It feels great to know that I have a great group of core friends who are just a phone call away.

Yup, friends might walk out on you. Focus on quality friends, not quantity.
I can relate somewhat to what you went through. Some of my 'friends' are hanging with my ex. Not much you can do. Be happy with what you have. Other stuff you cannot control don't sweat.
