Vinyl Retro Lounge?

Just seeing if anyone had any impressions/opinions regarding Vinyl.

Crowd, atmosphere, music, girls, dress code, probability of being stabbed, etc...

I'm thinking about heading down sometime this weekend.

its been packed like a mother$%@$er since it opened couple of weeks ago

lot of young crowds
very chillin atmosphere
music the 80s and 90s the good oldschool stuff
girls ; )
dress code prob same as any other clubs, just look nice with dressshoes

i went there last week and i didnt wear any fancy shoes so i think you will be fine. i had a great time at vinyl the only problem was that they have a really small smoke pit and washrooms, so sometimes the lineups get a little big for them. but other than that great atmosphere and music

Thanks, I've found that bars have been less sticky about shoes then they have been a few years ago, as long as the rest of you is presentable.

How old is the crowd?? I remember the old Plush played 90's Hip Hop but it was like a fucking high school dance in there, literally, half the kids in there were underage no wonder they shut down. And is the crowd mostly Asian, if it is, fuck that too.

I went in with sneakers, Supra Skytops, and I'm Asian! The crowd is younger as I noticed, my friend also works there and she said the crowd is young. Keep in mind, we're only 21 so young would mean 18 year olds. It gets extremely hot though.

Vinyl is awesome! Enjoy it while it's still clean.

It's the only club (other than HiFi) where I went in with a graphic tee (Donkey Kong FTW), some Nudies and Chucks.

Their music selection rules, there's two levels where the bottom has more trance-like mixes (maybe it was the DJ ) while the main had the mash-ups that you wouldn't believe and that's a good thing!

It's mostly the <30's crowd but it had some cougars on the prowl.

The bouncers are awesome too BTW!

Thanks for the input all... Didn't end up making it there tonight, maybe tomorrow or next weekend.

haha seriously? i wnt on thurs night and it was coyotes flash backs from 3 years ago, all the same bouncers, like that old homo with the goatee.

nice place, good music, but when i was there the crowd was shit. bunch of young weird ass kids. there was some hot ass women, but the rest was just weird as fuck. i'd still say check it out though, i think it ws just cause of the blink concertg with the loser from fall out boy dj;ing that the crowd sucked.

Haha, you're asian and when I went, I was with you and a bunch of other asians, for an asians birthday.

But the bar is pretty fun. It wont last though, nothing does in that spot and every time a bar opens up there it's crazy packed for 2 months then dies.

I was there last night and I had a really good time. I got in with white shoes no problem. I did however see a few ppl with their shirts turned inside out if it was CA/Ed so keep that in mind if you wear that.

oh yeah and the music was sweet! It was like old school songs remixed and mashed up.

I walked by there the other night, and it looked like a school bus broke down out front, and all of the half cut passengers were strewn all over the sidewalk. It felt like walking through a wall of drama. shudder

afterall, we were, or all will be there at one point in our life. They just want to party. It's just funny how half the attitudes of these kids are "I'm of legal age to party now, so I'm pretty much the mah fuckin' bomb diggy with shitloads of life experience." "Oh yeah..and I gotz skulls and tinfoil on my shirtz. bitches better recognize!"
