Looking for competitive volleyball players?

Finally got a call after a year on the wait list for the men's league that runs at the Talisman centre.

Some details as follows:
- Thursday nights Sept - Feb
- 7-9pm or 9-11pm
- best of 5 match every thursday
- if we can make 9 person team, roughly about $250/person


I had a full team lined up when I initially registered but now we're short a few guys. Feel free to PM me if you guys are interested, we can hold a practise on a friday drop in night to see how you can fit into the team.

I'm looking for players that have at least high school experience. I don't mind rust as we can work through that but understanding the 5-1 system for both offensive and defensive coverage is a must.

Myself, I haven't played in a few years aside from the odd drop in but I played high school and club ball.

Looking for powers, middles and techs. We have a setter already but if you're a setter that doesn't mind playing tech as well, that's fine.

I played tiers 3/4 there a few years back and would love to get back into it.

I usually set but could try hitting again or libero.

At 40 I could be the aging veteran looking for one last shot at Glory......lol

We haven't been tiered yet so I guess we'll see when they start ranking the teams.

I'm thinking for the first year, we'll be in tier 3/4 as well.

What do your numbers look like right now? I might be able to call some buddies who all play well.

I might be at the drop in at v-dome this friday.

I played last season and I'm trying to put a team together myself.

The cost will be $1850/team plus a $50 deposit (for defaults). If full payment is received before the
league starts the cost will be $1725. Returning teams may carry forward their deposits from last year
if they have not defaulted any games from the prior year.
