Does anyone have a large dog? I would let it out if you see him around... generally older asian people seem quite afraid of large dogs(once a taxi driver picked us up to take us to the airport and my dog ran out the door while we were moving luggage-he ran and hid in his car-even though the dog is friendly...)

I agree though, taking stuff from yards, under decks etc... is going a little far, when does it escalate to taking bikes and other valuables in the yard?

Do you guys have gates you can lock? I would be afraid of them letting my dog out or something, heck what if your kids are playing in the back yard and they come in? Do they do this at night or what? How does he know you are not home???

Well I've seen this guy at all hours of the day, usually around 4 or 5 though. He seems harmless walking around backalleys then all of a sudden he will be holding 4 garbage bags walking. Seems like everyone else has had this problem. I lock my bottles in my shed now, and depending on how many bottles he steals a day, he probably makes more money then I do LOL...and TAX FREE

    Maybe he's a freeman-on-the-land, enjoying his tax-free lifestyle.

    UGGGH I HATE THIS GUY
if it's the same one I know of we were in Beddington and they stole around 8 bags of bottles, worth a decent amount of coin, had wife driving the getaway car with a dish rag over the license plate. Asian couple.

They came back several times and finally got all the bottles.

Better than here - we get homeless folks ripping open garbage bags and dumping the contents searching for an empty bottle or two.

We have the same issue in Cranston. It's an older asian couple that will take bottles from peoples yards. Last week I saw her digging through a blue recycle bins as well.

Probably the same "crew" that's hitting New Brighton.

Time to dig another deep trench in my yard and fill it with water!

Oh well, the fence is going up this week. That should stop this crap.

He took 3 garbage bags out of my backyard, I was going to say something but then felt bad and let it go. Just wondering if anyone else noticed this guy.
Man my wife and I were thing a few days ago. The same guy stole 3 bags from our deck I was pretty choked and like someone said if I left it on the alley fine but do not walk into my yard go on my deck and take my empties. Now that I do not agree with if I ever see him I am going to confront him and have a few choice words for him I do not care if he is 20 or 100 yrs it is still wrong. Oh and this is in Saddlecrest
Do you understand the words that are coming out of your mouth?

If you take the bat to him (he's lived long enough already) do the job right, I don't want my tax dollars nursing him back to health.

There's an older asian couple who troll around the Shawnessy shopping area everyday for bottles&cans .... I wonder if that's them? Not certain how they get to Cranston/New Brighton though, unless they take the bus when they're finished in Shawnessy?
