    2 thumbs up...grate fotos.

I'm gonna speak with a friend about your drum kit as well.
"I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies. If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around the banks will deprive the people of all property until their children wake-up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered."

I was going to ask about taking film when traveling, actually. I've read the x-rays they use in airports have gotten a lot stronger recently and that you can't tell them to hand search the canisters anymore cause they stick them through anyway. What did you do to make sure your film wasn't damaged?

    Sweet pics!

I'm not sure where you read that but I don't think there's too much truth to it, at least probably not in North America. I've never encountered any bad rolls yet so I certainly don't have any worries about my film being x-rayed. The guideline is anything ISO 800 and higher should be hand inspected, but I think even that is a "just in case" rule. In fact, half the black and white photos I've posted are ISO 400 films push processed two stops as ISO 1600 and there's no problem there. I probably wouldn't worry about running most commercially available films through the x-ray machine. Just make sure you have your film with your carry on and not checked in cause that *will* kill your film.

However if you feel you want your film hand inspected, the TSA website states you can ask for it (when traveling through the US at least):
    http://www.tsa.gov/travelers/airtrav...rial_1248.shtm
    http://www.tsa.gov/travelers/airtrav...rial_1035.shtm

I'd print those pages out and carry them with you if you think security's going to be a problem with your request.

Can't remember where I read it. Tried to find the page but couldn't haha. Typical.

Thanks for the info, I ended up leaving both my film cameras at home because I was so worried.

Great shots. Do you ask people to take pics of them? for example the guy on the bench.
And do others look at your funny when you're taking pics of them when they aren't looking?

No, if I asked them, that'd take away the natural look of it. I just act like I'm not taking pictures of them. And if they're not looking at me, then how do they know if I'm taking pics of them?

What I meant was whether they look at you after you've snapped the shot...for example this one below, you look like you're pretty close to them haha

Sometimes people don't care (or don't mind the attention). I was actually shooting these girls for a while, standing right behind them and sitting beside them while they tried to get the pigeons to eat out of their hands.
