    Question Need Help With First Car

    What do you think of this used car?
    I'm thinking of buying this car, what do you think of it personally?, it's my first car and im not sure, i havent seen it yet but im planning on going to view it very soon

    Don't bother with a BMW if you don't have money to maintain it. It's expensive, espeically an old one. And purple is ugly.

    For a little less than that price you can get a 98+ accord.

    was i have been looking at this car, it's a pretty decent car, and for $5300, it's a good price

    why people say that?

    all of the BMW's i've owned were and still very Reliable.

    That price correct?

    I'd only buy that if you work on it yourself. Otherwise classic ownership gets expensive.

    there is NO WAY that car is 5300. unless the frame is twisted, its a maaco respray, cats pissed in the interior and the engine is in the trunk.

    My suggestion is to get something front or awd for your first car. I woudnt recomend a BMW just for cost of repairs. We've all been car poor at one point in our life time and it's not fun, my recomendation would any the Japanese manufacturers like Honda, Toyota, nissan, Mazda or Subaru(but parts will be close to the same as BMW). Also, make sure you get a 5speed. It will give more control during winter allowing your engine to brake for you and help prevent you from going into skids.
